Pastor Brandon Nickerson, a Texas native, hails from North Houston and began his educational journey at Forest Brook High School, later attending Texas Southern University. His life took a remarkable turn at the age of twenty-seven when he encountered a divine visitation while incarcerated. During this pivotal experience, he was surrounded by a radiant light and heard the profound declaration, "I am proud of you." This moment ignited a passionate commitment to his faith, affirming that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of his spiritual path.

Under the mentorship of Pastor Michael Pender at Fallbrook Church, Brandon received clear guidance from God, leading him to serve at Nation of God Ministries. There, he was mentored by the late Apostle Larry Montgomery, who profoundly impacted his spiritual development. In this supportive community, Brandon witnessed the miraculous works of God, including deliverance, healing, and the power of speaking in tongues, cementing his understanding of the living Word of God exemplified through Apostle Montgomery.

In 2016, Brandon was ordained as a minister and married Minister Stephanie Montgomery-Nickerson. Together, they co-pastor 1-Ness Ministries, dedicating their lives to nurturing believers and inviting all to explore the teachings of Christ with open hearts.
